Estate Administration

"Thank you so much for helping me get through a “terrible” situation! I’ve never dealt with the IRS before and found it quite intimidating! Thank you. "

- Ray O. | Testimonials

A person who dies with a will is said to have died testate, if a person dies without a will is said to have died intestate.  When an individual dies intestate, his property will be distributed according to the state’s intestacy statutes.  Stated another way, every individual has a will, whether they realize it or not.

Whenever a person dies, his or her estate must be collected and managed.  Estate Administration involves managing assets, paying the debts, keeping accurate records and giving a property accounting to the beneficiaries.  This process may be formal or informal depending on if the decedent had an estate plan in place.
